Yes. We're booking the 2027 season, May 1 through September 30. We specialize in weddings, elopements, and vow renewals, and we also host family reunions, anniversaries, birthday celebrations, and corporate gatherings.

2027 packages start at $850 for an elopement or vow renewal (up to 12 guests, up to 4 hours), $1,600 for an intimate wedding (up to 50 guests, 4 hours; 6 hours is $2,400), $6,000 for a full-day wedding (up to 150 guests, up to 12 hours), and $7,500 for a two-day wedding. A $300 non-refundable retainer at signing reserves your date. For the balance, choose the plan that suits you: pay in full and save 3%, two payments, four payments, or monthly autopay.

A refundable security deposit of 15% of the total is due 30 days before your event. If the venue is left tidy and in good condition, it's returned after your event.

Our payment plans let you spread the cost over the months before your wedding. If you need something different, contact us and we'll talk through your situation.

Cancellation terms are set out in our Venue Rental Agreement. The $300 retainer is non-refundable.

Up to 150 guests.

All events end by 11 pm so clean-up is finished and the site is closed by midnight. Loud music that neighbors can hear must end by 10 pm; soft music can continue until 11 pm. Guests lodging on the property are welcome to stay on after the event. Your package sets how many hours you have on the property.

Yes. Chairs are included in every package, and tables are included with intimate, full-day, and two-day weddings. Our staff set up and put away the ceremony chairs and the round reception tables.

Yes, in one of two ways. With the two-day package, your first day includes a rehearsal window of up to 4 hours, and you can hold your rehearsal dinner on the Covered Patio or at the Lakeside Ceremony Area. For one-day events, we schedule a rehearsal slot of about 2.5 hours earlier in the week.

With the two-day package, yes: day one is yours for setup and decorating. For one-day events, early drop-off is by arrangement only. Items can't be stored on the property outside your rental period.

Yes, our staff are on the property for your whole event. We're facility coordinators, not wedding planners: we open the gate, keep the facilities running, and show your vendors where everything goes. Decorating and tear-down of your own items are up to you and your helpers.

We don't offer planning or day-of coordination, but we're happy to connect you with trusted planners and coordinators from our vendor list.

Please leave the venue as neat as you found it and take home everything you brought. Clear everything off the tables at the end of the evening; trash goes in the on-site dumpster. You can also hire a setup and tear-down service.

Our staff handle the rest: setting up and putting away chairs and tables, vacuuming, sweeping and mopping, emptying the main dumpster, and cleaning the restrooms.

Free gated parking for about 50 cars, with overflow parking if needed.

Yes. The property has a private, gated entry, and you can share the gate code with your guests so your celebration stays private.

Glow sticks, glow wands, ribbon wands, fresh flowers, organic petals, and bubbles are all welcome. For safety and clean-up, we don't allow rice, confetti, glitter, foil or tinsel, artificial petals, balloons, streamers, or anything involving fire, including sparklers and fireworks. Have another idea? Just ask.

Yes. We have two ADA-compliant restrooms and two ADA parking spaces right next to the venue entrance, with level parking. Motorized and transport wheelchairs can navigate the event area.

For family members staying overnight, the Baan Rai Cabin has an ADA-accessible restroom.

Some garden and forest paths have natural surfaces, so let us know about any mobility needs when you tour and we'll plan the easiest routes for your guests.

No. You'll bring a professional caterer. Our Catering Room has two refrigerators, including a large commercial one, plus stainless steel counters and a utility sink. It's set up for plating and serving, not cooking: there's no stove or oven.

No. The cabin is guest lodging and isn't practical for catering. Please use a professional caterer and our Catering Room.

Yes, we share a list of trusted wedding and event vendors in Snohomish County.

No, the list is for your reference. You're welcome to bring your own vendors as long as they provide a certificate of insurance. The one exception is your bartender, who must be on our trusted vendor list or someone we approve. Just send us their name.

Yes. Many couples bring their own beer, wine, and spirits to save on costs. It just needs to be served by a licensed bartender and covered by a Banquet Permit and liquor liability insurance. See the next answer for details.

Three things: a licensed bartender, either from our trusted vendor list or someone we approve (just send us their name), a Washington State Banquet Permit from the WA Liquor and Cannabis Board, and liquor liability coverage added to your event insurance, listing Lake Ploenta, LLC as an additional insured.

The Banquet Permit is easy to apply for online; please have it in hand at least 30 days before your wedding. Please send us a copy of your insurance 30 days before your event.

You're welcome to use the bar area, icebox, and two refrigerators in the Catering Room.

The full policy is in our Venue Policies. In short: no alcohol sales on the property, which means no cash bar or tips for drinks; alcohol service ends by 11 pm, or 1 hour before your event ends; no shots or Jägermeister; and no serving anyone who appears intoxicated. You're responsible for your guests, and we may ask anyone to leave if needed.

Yes. Your policy must cover at least $1 million per occurrence and list Lake Ploenta, LLC as an additional insured. Add liquor liability if you're serving alcohol. Send us a copy 30 days before your event. Online providers such as WedSafe make this simple, and any outside vendors need their own liability coverage too.

Yes, and it's one of our favorite things about Lake Ploenta. On-site lodging includes the Lake House, the Baan Rai Cabin, two yurts, and two glamping tents. Up to 32 guests can stay on the property. Book 5–6 months ahead to secure lodging for your dates. See Lodging & Rates.

On Airbnb, our Lake House and cabin have a four-night minimum stay. For wedding guests, we waive the minimum entirely, so your family and friends can book one night, two, or whatever fits their plans. Because every stay, however short, gets a full cleaning and fresh linens, our wedding-guest rates reflect that care, plus a one-time cleaning fee for the Lake House and cabin. See Lodging & Rates.

Yes, on-leash. In the yurts and glamping tents, bring your pet's own bed. At the Lake House and Baan Rai Cabin, pets stay on the patio or in a kennel, not inside. Details are on the lodging page.

Of course. If children are attending, plan on one sober sitter for every five children, and send us the sitter's name and phone number before the event. Our vendor list includes babysitting services.
